Job summary

Encore Global UK’s Technical Delivery Department designs, plans, documents, and supports event technology systems across Audio, Lighting, Rigging, and Video for temporary events and live production. The Systems Designer will evaluate project needs and create designs that are safe and functional while ensuring adherence to the technical standards and commercial constraints in place.

The Systems Designer will work predominantly in the office but will conduct site visits to support operational

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD design for live event systems.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Demonstrated client-facing relationship skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related office tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate temporary event and live production requirements and propose solutions per Encore guidelines.
• Produce detailed drawings, schematics, renderings, and bills of materials using CAD tools.
• Provide consultative technical input to Project Managers and operations to align designs with budget and inventory.
• Maintain high standards of design and documentation within the Systems Designer group.
• Identify skills and competencies needed to deliver and operate designed systems.
