Role Profile:

As a Rigger, you will play a vital role in supporting our team to ensure all of our antenna systems are maintained and installed to a high standard. You will work at height and travel between multiple sites across the South.

Location:

Southern UK, below the M4 corridor

Total Package:

• Up to £45,000 base salary
• Company vehicle

Must haves:

• Full/Valid Driving license
• Rigging tall structures for winching personnel up the structure
• Working knowledge of mast and tower maintenance procedures, technical processes, standards, and engineering practices related to area of expertise
• Experience working at heights on towers/masts up to 1000ft (300m)
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK
• Preparedness to stay away from home location for periods of time

Might haves:

• First Aid certification
• Work at height training including Mast rescue

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Antenna Systems team to deliver preventative maintenance across various antenna systems
• Completing preventative and corrective maintenance on mast and tower infrastructure
• Installing, operating, and dismantling winch systems to support work on tall structures
• Responding to faults and technical issues, including emergency call-outs, to assist the Antenna Systems Engineer in providing corrective maintenance
• Conducting support structure inspections and providing documented reports
• Supervising third parties requiring access to specific sites such as high-power UHF and MF sites
• Maintaining accurate records, documentation, and reporting of actions taken
• Maximizing team efficiency by delivering bundled activities within skillset
• Seeking to upskill/develop to enable maximum benefit and prevent unnecessary site visits
