At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. Join us as a Rigger at our Heysham, Lancashire site and play your part in supporting EDF’s efforts to enhance the lifetime of a power station complex within the Nuclear industry.

The role

As a Rigger, you’ll be responsible for moving heavy loads using a variety of machinery, working as part of a team. Key responsibilities include:

1. Prioritizing safety for yourself and others.
2. Delivering work according to EDF requirements.
3. Maintaining compliance with site standards and expectations.

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, based in Heysham, Lancashire.

Essential experience

• Procedure and task instruction compliance.
• Maintaining compliance within a regulated industry.
• Recognised Training Scheme or Apprenticeship with appropriate Construction Plant Competency Scheme (CPCS) Slinger/Signaller A40 (or equivalent).

Qualifications

• ECITB Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Construction Lifting, Positioning, and Installing Structures, Plant, and Equipment.
