Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a qualified engineer to contribute to technical management of an attraction or attractions at Universal United Kingdom Resort (UUKR). The role covers budget and schedule responsibilities and supports specification, bid/award, design, production, installation, and acceptance testing of ride and show systems, including show action equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an applicable technical field or equivalent demonstrated skill and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering calculations, design, drafting and research support for ride/show systems.
• Review vendor design documents and review components, tests and deliverables as assigned by engineering management.
• Edit and update Ride/Show engineering specifications to support system delivery.
• Assist in managing vendors through bid, design, manufacture, testing, shipping, installation, start‑up and commissioning.
• Develop or revise test protocols and plans; witness or approve testing as assigned by Engineering & Safety management.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety policies and participate in related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
