Job summary

Chessington World of Adventures is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to maintain their thrilling rides and attractions. You’ll inspect, diagnose faults, and perform preventive and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electro‑mechanical systems in a safety‑critical environment.

You’ll join a specialist team, supporting major refurbishments, overhauls and engineering improvements while working across a variety of mechanical environments.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Experience with maintenance engineering and planned preventative maintenance systems.
• Good understanding of COSHH and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Utilise PPM plans to carry out safety-critical inspections on rides and systems.
• Carry out reactive maintenance and repairs with work orders.
• Diagnose faults and support preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation.
• Adhere to safety practices and quality standards including LEAN/5S.

ONC/NVQ Level 3/BTEC or equivalent
