Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd is currently helping a well-regarded architectural studio in Preston to recruit an aspiring RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant. You will contribute to diverse projects from concept through planning, developing drawings, 3D models, and presentations.

The role offers mentorship from experienced architects and a clear pathway toward Part 3, within a supportive, collaborative team. Applicants based near Preston/Lancashire are preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed RIBA Part 2 qualification from a recognised UK architecture school.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Revit.
• Based near Preston/Lancashire.
• Enthusiastic, proactive and eager to learn within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and development of projects from concept to planning stages.
• Produce high-quality drawings, 3D models, and presentations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit (training provided if needed).
• Support senior team members with project research, concept development, and technical detailing.
• Attend team meetings, site visits, and client presentations as needed.
