Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a part-time Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to join the Rheumatology AHP Service in Glasgow. You will provide specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for patients with inflammatory arthritis and other rheumatological conditions, across outpatient clinics, rehabilitation programmes and hydrotherapy.

Qualifications

Specialist knowledge in rheumatology and inflammatory arthritis.
Experience working within a rheumatology MDT.
Ability to deliver hydrotherapy and outpatient clinics.
Commitment to quality improvement and audits.
Support student education and team development.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for rheumatology patients.
Work as an integral member of the rheumatology multidisciplinary team.
Support rheumatology outpatient services.
Deliver exercise-based rehabilitation programmes.
Participate in consultant-led clinics and multidisciplinary services.
Deliver hydrotherapy rehabilitation sessions.
Contribute to service improvement, quality improvement initiatives and audits.
Support student education and the development of the wider team.
