Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a part-time Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to join the Rheumatology AHP Service in Glasgow. You will provide specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for patients with inflammatory arthritis and other rheumatological conditions, across outpatient clinics, rehabilitation programmes and hydrotherapy.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part‑time Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to join the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Rheumatology AHP Service. Working within a multidisciplinary rheumatology team, the postholder will provide specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for patients with inflammatory arthritis and other rheumatological conditions. The role offers a varied caseload across outpatient clinics, rehabilitation programmes, consultant‑led services, and hydrotherapy.

All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) only if these requirements are met.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern

Permanent, Part‑time of 27.89 per week

Shift Pattern - Monday - Thursday

Base location - Glasgow Royal Infirmary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for rheumatology patients.

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job
