The post holder will be expected to provide clinical expertise and knowledge whilst demonstrating a sound understanding of the issues related to the identification, assessment, treatment, and management for patients with rheumatological conditions. The individual will monitor and improve standards of care through supervision of practice, clinical audits, evidence-based practice, teaching and supporting professional colleagues, and the provision of skilled professional leadership, e.g., nurse-led Early Arthritis Clinics. The individual will actively contribute to the clinical governance processes within the service, working within NICE guidelines for anti-TNF/JAK-inhibitor Biologic therapy clinics.
The successful candidate will be required to work at NMGH; however, the post holder may also be required to work from ORC.
