Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites a Consultant in Rheumatology to join a well-established department of eight consultants. The appointee will augment and complement the team to drive a comprehensive rheumatology service.

Sub-specialty interests in vasculitis, bone health or axial spondyloarthritis are welcome, with enthusiasm for teaching, audit and research. The post holder will provide specialty rheumatology care, attend departmental and X-ray meetings, and support training

Competenze

• Teaching, audit and research interest desirable.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary rheumatology team.

Mansioni

• Provide specialty rheumatology advice and support to patients within the Trust.
• Attend weekly departmental meetings and X-ray meetings.
• Help train registrars and junior medical staff in rheumatology and general medicine.
• Engage in governance, audits and research activities.
