Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Rheumatology Consultant to join the team at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. The appointee will deliver a specialist rheumatology service alongside ten other consultants across Winchester and Basingstoke sites.

The post emphasises outpatient care with inpatient involvement, and development of services such as Ankylosing Spondylitis, transitions to adulthood, and Fracture Liaison.

Qualifications

• CCT in Rheumatology preferred.
• Interest and experience in MSK and GCA ultrasound.
• Higher qualification in medical education and leadership/management experience desirable.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist rheumatology service both outpatient and inpatient.
• Support outpatient rheumatology services and participate in inpatient care as needed.
• Develop services such as Ankylosing Spondylitis, rheumatology transition to adulthood, and Fracture Liaison services.
• Contribute to diagnosis and treatment planning and collaborate with the wider rheumatology team.
