Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a committed Registered Nurse to join a high-quality nursing home in the Chickerell, Weymouth area. You will provide person-centred care to residents in general and dementia settings, administering medications and contributing to care planning. The home is rated Good by CQC.

Permanent day and night shifts are available. The role offers GBP22.00 per hour (up to GBP54,912 per year) with a strong benefits package including a pension, induction, enhanced bank holiday rates, and

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin.
• Experience in a care setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care.
• Administer all medications and treatments within NMC guidelines and company policies.
• Ensure residents' care plans are completed and maintained with residents, relatives and other health care professionals.
• Report any ill health amongst residents and request GP/professional visits when necessary.

This nursing home specialises in general and dementia nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly. The home is currently rated as Good by CQC

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

As a Nurse Your Key Duties Include

• Accurately assess the needs of residents and identify priorities of care
• Administer all medication and treatments within the NMC guidelines and companys medication policy
• Ensure that residents care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with residents, relatives and other health care professionals
• Report any ill:health amongst residents and make request for GP/professional visit where necessary

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Proven experience of working in a care setting
• Ability to show empathy, understanding and experience of the needs of the client group
• Well:developed time management and leadership skills
• Able to show a can:do attitude always
• A good team player

Benefits

The successful Nurse will be offered an excellent salary of GBP22.00 per hour and the annual salary is up to GBP54,912 per annum.
