The Westbury Care Home, Warminster Road, Westbury, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) to lead and support our care team. You’ll receive training to adapt to nursing in a care home and ongoing development to progress your career.

We’re looking for an experienced nurse with strong clinical skills, a clear understanding of CQC standards, and the ability to lead a team. Flexible rota coverage and onsite parking are available.

Qualificações

• Valid RGN NMC Registration.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Desirable: experience in long-term care; not essential.
• Understanding of CQC standards and legislation.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Familiar with PCS and electronic care planning.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high quality nursing care to residents.
• Conduct clinical assessments and plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Promote the rights, interests and choices of residents and carers.
• Liaise with GPs and primary health care practitioners.
• Communicate clinical decisions and care pathways to residents and carers.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and report to relevant colleagues.
• Utilise IT systems to secure accurate resident and workforce data.
• Apply current dementia care knowledge to practice.

Salary: £19.83 to £20.33 per hour

Who We’re Looking For

How You’ll Make a Difference

By providing the highest quality of nursing care, you’ll be helping to improve and sustain our residents’ quality of life. Leading and supporting a care team, you’ll:

• Provide high quality nursing care to our residents.
• Responsible for clinical assessment of residents, ensuring appropriate care is planned, implemented, and evaluated, involving residents and users.
• To promote the rights, interests, needs and choices of carers and people with dementia in the planning, delivery and evaluation of care and services.
• To liaise with GPs, case managers, primary health care practitioners, statutory and voluntary agencies, supporting our residents.
• Effectively communicate information regarding clinical decisions, policy and care pathways to residents/carers and the multi-professional team including situations where difficulties in comprehension occur.
• To maintain clinical records and provide verbal and written feedback appropriately and as required, to carers, and persons with dementia as appropriate, and referring agencies and professional colleagues.
• Utilise and ensure others utilise information and IT systems to secure accurate and timely resident, workforce and resource data.
• To integrate into practice current knowledge of dementia and caring, informed by research and other forms of evidence.
