Job summary

Mason Blake, a leading global asset manager, seeks an RFP Specialist to join its Global RFP team in London. You will support institutional and third-party distribution efforts across international markets, contributing to business development and client retention.

You will draft, edit and coordinate responses to RFPs, work with Sales, Marketing, Portfolio Management and Compliance, and help drive process improvements and AI integration in the proposal function.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an RFP or related role within asset management.
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline.
• Strong interest in asset management, investment strategies and financial markets.
• Excellent written communication skills; ability to translate complex concepts clearly.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, collaborative and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• European language skills advantageous but not essential.
• Experience with proposal management platforms such as Loopio is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Research, draft, edit and coordinate responses to RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and client reporting requests to support business development and client servicing activities.
• Partner with subject matter experts across Sales, Marketing, Portfolio Management, Operations, Performance, Compliance and Legal to ensure accurate and compelling responses.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high quality.
• Develop understanding of the firm's investment capabilities across asset classes.
• Maintain and enhance content in the proposal management platform; keep content library accurate.
• Support integration and adoption of AI tools within the RFP function and broader business.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality in the proposal process.

Based in London, this role will support institutional and third-party distribution efforts across international markets, contributing directly to business development initiatives and client retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, draft, edit and coordinate responses to RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and client reporting requests to support business development and client servicing activities.
• Partner closely with subject matter experts across Sales, Marketing, Portfolio Management, Operations, Performance, Compliance and Legal teams to ensure responses are accurate, compelling and delivered on time.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the firm's investment capabilities and solutions across various asset classes.
• Maintain, update and enhance content within the firm's proposal management platform, ensuring the content library remains accurate and relevant.
• Support the ongoing integration and adoption of Artificial Intelligence tools within the RFP function and broader business.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency and quality across the proposal process.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience within an RFP or related role within asset management.
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in asset management, investment strategies and financial markets.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear and compelling content.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, collaborative and eager to learn within a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Additional European language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
• Experience using proposal management platforms such as Loopio is beneficial but not required.
