Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is seeking an Ecosystem Integration Engineering Manager to lead a new cross-disciplinary team spanning hardware, firmware, middleware, apps, and cloud services. You’ll drive end-to-end integration of IDT Reader BU products into RFID ecosystems, collaborating with Product Management and cross-BA teams to define architectures and delivery plans.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering, 3+ years in leading teams, and deep RFID/system integration experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience across the broader product stack, including at least 3+ years managing or leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Demonstrated breadth across the RFID identification ecosystem
• Direct delivery experience spanning multiple of the team's disciplines (hardware, firmware, middleware, apps, and cloud services)
• Strong working knowledge of identification, access control, RFID, or adjacent IoT domains

Responsibilities

• Translate the ecosystem roadmap into engineering plans, integration architectures, and delivery commitments
• Establish reusable engineering frameworks and shared platforms across hardware, firmware, middleware, apps, and cloud services
• Define reference architectures and integration patterns for use by the wider Reader BU and partner ecosystems
• Incorporate integration considerations into product design from the outset across hardware, firmware, middleware, apps, and cloud architecture
• Provide technical guidance across five disciplines and lead design reviews spanning the end-to-end system
• Maintain knowledge of relevant standards (RFID, mobile credentials, IAM) and evolving ecosystems
