Job summary

KLA in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced RF & Plasma Technologist to design and develop RF sub-assemblies and plasma hardware for advanced semiconductor etch and deposition systems. The role collaborates with process, electrical, mechanical, software and manufacturing teams to deliver robust subsystems with world-class plasma performance.

Qualifications

PhD or MSc in Physics, Plasma Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or related discipline.
Industrial experience with plasma processing, RF engineering, vacuum systems and semiconductor equipment.
Delivery of complex technology from concept to prototype validation and release.
Strong communication and cross-functional authority.

Responsibilities

Plasma-hardware development for etch and deposition sources and chamber internals.
RF sub-assembly development including matching networks and transmission systems.
Plan and conduct lab experiments and root-cause investigations.
Coordinate design reviews and mentor engineers in Advanced Development.
Engage with customers, suppliers and research institutions; contribute to roadmaps.
