Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the service team. The role involves commissioning systems, FAT, and supporting stadium projects across the UK, with occasional international travel.

You will work with systems engineering on design and implementation, provide training and technical support to operators and clients, with clear opportunities to progress into systems engineering, R&D, or managerial positions over time.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills, adept at handling challenging situations.
• Basic RF knowledge, including power dBm, spectrum analyser operation, signal generator use, and understanding of cabling and antenna types.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to customer sites for commissioning and support, with occasional international travel (typically up to 2 weeks at a time every other month)
• Monitoring and supporting stadium systems across the UK.
• Collaborating with the systems engineering team on design and implementation projects.
• Conducting FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) for system deployments.
• Providing training and technical support to operators and clients.
