Steatite Antennas in Leominster is seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join the manufacturing team. This hands-on role supports the construction, assembly, testing and production of bespoke RF and electrical products used in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly or production environment.
• Electrical or mechanical discipline desirable.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Soldering experience.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Positive, adaptable and solution-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical instructions and engineering drawing packs.
• Assemble RF and electrical products using hand and power tools.
• Inspect components, sub-assemblies and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Carry out soldering and intricate assembly activities.
• Test finished products and diagnose faults where required.
• Convert stock materials into production components.
• Maintain accurate production records and report issues.
• Support continuous improvement and collaborate with other departments.
• Ensure safe working practices and adherence to company procedures.
