Job summary

Steatite Antennas in Leominster is seeking a Production Operative to join our growing team. You will work in a production laboratory environment, supporting the manufacture of our antenna systems and related products for demanding environments.

This role offers full training, development in engineering drawing interpretation, mechanical assembly techniques and quality processes. We provide a structured career pathway to a Production Technician role and relocation support for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Good practical and manual skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive and reliable approach to work.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Desire to build a long-term career within manufacturing.
• Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and components for production.
• Build mechanical sub-assemblies.
• Assemble higher-volume products.
• Read engineering drawings (full training provided).
• Carry out production documentation and inspections.
• Support other production areas, including Stores and Packing, when required.
