Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative for our Londonderry/Derry site at Ladbrokes Chamberlain Street. The role involves delivering high-quality cleaning services, maintaining hygiene across offices, toilets and common areas, and following HACCP and safety standards.

We offer pro rata annual leave, pension, employee assistance and other wellbeing benefits. The position requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills for safety instructions.
• Current BICS qualifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cleaning services to the assigned area in line with client specifications.
• Clean offices, meeting rooms, toilets/showers and site-wide areas.
• Replenish stocks and check equipment regularly.
• Report any defects or hazards to the Line Manager.
• Follow company procedures, health, safety and HACCP standards.
• Keep all areas tidy and compliant with hygiene guidelines.

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to join our team based at our Ladbrokes Chamberlain Street, Londonderry/Derry site. This is a great opportunity to join a world leading facilities management company.

Working Pattern:

• 3 hours per week
• 1 hour clean three times a week
• Night time or early morining cleansbetween 9pm and 9am

The Role:

• Providing the highest level of Cleaning service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients' specifications
• Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets/showersand areas site wide
• Ensuring all stocks are replenished
• Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines
• During hours of work and all the equipment is left clean and in good working order at the end of your shift, reporting any defects to your Line Manager
• Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and regulations
• Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers to your Line Manager
• All offices, toilets, and amenity areas to be presented clean and tidy
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all HACCP regulations as necessary

The Person:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• NVQ/SVQ Level One in Cleaning Building Interiors would be an advantage but not essential
• Previous work experience in customer service employment
• Current BICS Qualifications.
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
