The Mount Charles Group is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join the team at Radius Portcaman, Bushmills. You will be responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas to required standards, following COSHH guidelines and training on equipment usage.

We offer a part-time pattern with flexible weekly options, 20 days paid holidays pro rata, training and development, pension, and support for wellbeing. Applicants should be customer focused and committed to our values.

Qualificações

• Have knowledge of cleaning chemicals/products and have previous cleaning experience.
• Customer focused with good eye for detail.
• Good time management skills.
• Experience of working on your own and ensuring set tasks are completed.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by COSHH guidelines.
• Ensure full working knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use equipment as directed by the Line Manager after training.
• Report immediately any equipment which is faulty, mark as faulty and do not use.
• Ensure safety signage is used and warn customers where possible.
• Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy and store equipment safely.

We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Operativesto join our team at Radius Portcaman, Bushmills. Day to day you will be responsible for the cleaning and servicing of your area, as allocated by the Line Manager to the required standard.

WorkingPattern:

• 2 hours per week
• 2 hours per week, 1 hour twice a week or 2 hours once a week

The Role:

• Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards - this to include weekly and periodic tasks
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to health guidelines (COSHH)
• Ensure full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use cleaning equipment as directed by the Line Manager only after correct training is given.
• Report immediately any equipment which is faulty, mark as faulty and do not use
• Ensure that the safety signage is used appropriate at all times, e.g. wet floor signs and ‘warn’ customers where possible
• Ensure that cleaning stores are kept clean and tidy and equipment is stored correctly and safely at all times

The Person:

• Have knowledge of cleaning chemicals/products and have previous cleaning experience
• Are customer focused with good eye for detail
• Good time management skills
• Experience of working on your own and ensuring set tasks are completed.
• Leads by example and lives our values.
• Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
