Mount Charles in Armagh is hiring a Cleaning Operative to maintain cleanliness at Orchard Leisure Centre. The role includes flexible working hours with a commitment of 15 hours per week, primarily on weekends.

Working Pattern

• 15 hours per week
• Saturday 9:15am – 4:45pm
• Sunday 10:15am – 5:15pm

The Role

• Ensure all areas (offices, kitchen, and rest areas) are cleaned efficiently and timely to the required standards – including weekly and periodic tasks.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health guidelines (COSHH).
• Maintain full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use cleaning equipment as directed by the Line Manager only after correct training is given.
• Immediately report, mark as faulty, and do not use any equipment that is faulty.
• Knowledge of scrubber dryer operation would be an advantage.
• Perform any and all other cleaning duties.
