Job summary

Connected Health is seeking a Care Assistant in Islandmagee to support clients in their own homes. Training is provided, and prior experience is not required. You will contribute to a caring, supportive environment while developing a rewarding career in homecare.

Applicants should have a valid driver’s licence and access to a car, with flexible full-time and part-time shifts including alternative weekends. Competitive pay, mileage, sign-on bonus, and training benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• Good standard of English, both written and spoken.
• Must have a valid driver's licence and access to your own car.
• Available to work alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each service user's care plan.
• Respect service users' dignity, independence and choices.
• Maintain professional relationships with service users, families, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Report changes in a service user's condition to the supervisor.
• Follow Connected Health policies and Health and Safety requirements.
• Complete care records and timesheets.
