Job summary

Connected Health Group Limited in North Belfast is seeking a Care Assistant. You will provide personal care and daily living support in clients' homes, following individual care plans and maintaining dignity and choices.

No prior homecare experience is required as accredited training and ongoing development are provided. A valid driver’s licence and flexibility for alternate weekends are desirable, with full-time and part-time shifts available.

Qualifications

• Good standard of English, both written and spoken.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence and access to own car.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each service user's care plan.
• Respect service users' dignity, independence and choices at all times.
• Maintain professional relationships with service users, families, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Report changes in a service user's condition or circumstances to the supervisor.
• Complete required documentation, including care records and timesheets.
• Attend induction, training, supervision and team meetings as required.
