Job summary

Enterprise Security Systems in the United Kingdom is seeking a Revit / CAD Technician to support the design of complex physical security solutions across high security, public space, transport and critical infrastructure projects throughout the UK and Ireland.

This role focuses on AutoCAD, Revit and BIM work; you will produce 2D/3D drawings, model architectures in Revit MEP, and manage BIM models to Level 2 while collaborating with architects, design teams and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong AutoCAD and Revit experience.
• BIM Level 2 knowledge.
• Understanding of engineering design principles.
• Experience producing detailed technical drawings and models.
• Some understanding of Electronic Security Systems.
• Experience within CCTV, Access Control, integrated security, electrical installations or construction.

Responsibilities

• Produce and modify 2D and 3D drawings for physical security systems.
• Create layouts, schematics, plans, elevations and technical details.
• Model system architecture using Revit MEP.
• Generate and manage BIM models and libraries to Level 2.
• Produce CCTV field of view visualisations.
• Collaborate with Architects, Technical Designers and Project Delivery teams.
• Update red line drawings to final as-installed documentation.
• Review drawings with clients and incorporate design changes.
• Maintain drawing registers, document control and transmittals.
• Occasionally visit sites with Technical Designers for surveys.
