Job summary

High Tech Hire Ltd is seeking an experienced CAD / BIM Technician with a background in electronic security systems to join our growing design team. The role focuses on producing detailed 2D/3D drawings and BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit for CCTV and access control projects.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Practical understanding of BIM.
• Previous experience within security systems / electronic security.
• Good understanding of engineering and construction principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• UK security industry experience is highly desirable.
• UK driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D/3D drawings and BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Support the design and delivery of CCTV, Access Control and other electronic security systems.
• Work to BIM Level 2 standards and engineering design principles.
• Produce accurate technical documentation and design drawings.
• Work closely with project, engineering and design teams.
• Use tools including Visio, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and JVSG.
