Job summary

Code Resources LTD is seeking a Revit/BIM Coordinator for a contract role in Cheshire. You will coordinate MEP models using Revit, ACC and Navisworks, supporting a small engineering team on multi-disciplinary projects. The position is office-based, five days per week with an immediate start and a long-term contract.

You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate, coordinated drawings and documentation, delivering high-quality results that meet BIM standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in Revit, BIM and MEP coordination.
• Strong practical experience coordinating mechanical and electrical services.
• Advanced working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and ACC.
• Experience using Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Good understanding of MEP systems, drawings and construction documentation.
• Ability to translate engineering designs into coordinated models.
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality output.
• Confident working independently in a small team.
• Proactive, self-starting with strong organisational skills.
• Willingness to work from Cheshire office five days per week.

Working Pattern: Office-based, five days per week

The Opportunity

Our client is an established mechanical and electrical Contractor based in Cheshire. Due to a strong and growing project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Revit/BIM Coordinator to support their close-knit team of approximately ten MEP engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce, coordinate and manage detailed MEP models using Revit.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical services across multidisciplinary project models. Working knowledge of utilising ACC and Viewpoint platforms essential.
• Identify and resolve spatial coordination issues and design clashes.
• Undertake clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks.
• Produce coordinated drawings, layouts and schedules from Revit models.
• Maintain model accuracy, quality and consistency throughout each project.
• Support engineers with model development and technical documentation.
• Manage model information in accordance with agreed BIM standards and project requirements.
• Liaise closely with engineers, project managers and other members of the delivery team.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and work effectively with minimal supervision.

Experience Required

• A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in Revit, BIM and MEP coordination.
• Strong practical experience coordinating mechanical and electrical building services.
• Advanced working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and ACC etc.
• Experience using Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• A good understanding of MEP systems, drawings and construction documentation.
• Ability to interpret engineering designs and translate them into accurate coordinated models.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Confident working independently within a small, collaborative engineering team.
• A proactive, self-starting approach with excellent organisational skills.
• Willingness to work from the Cheshire office five days per week.
