Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions in Derby is seeking an experienced Revit MEP Technician to join an established MEP contractor. You will work in-house on a diverse portfolio across commercial, leisure, education, healthcare and industrial projects, supporting detailed design and construction-stage BIM outputs.

You should have hands-on Revit MEP experience, a good grasp of coordinating Mechanical and Electrical services, and the ability to manage model updates and clash detections across multiple

• Previous experience within an MEP / Building Services contractor.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP.
• Experience producing coordinated Building Services models and drawings.
• Good understanding of Mechanical and Electrical services.
• Experience working on construction-stage projects.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Revit MEP Technician to join an established MEP contractor in Derby, working across a diverse portfolio of technically interesting Building Services projects.

You’ll join an in-house design team delivering projects across commercial, leisure centres, universities, healthcare and major industrial developments, supporting projects through detailed design and construction.

This role is suited to someone from an MEP contractor background who understands the demands of construction-stage delivery and can confidently produce accurate, coordinated Revit models.

The Role

As a Revit MEP Technician, you’ll be responsible for:

• Producing detailed Revit MEP models for live Building Services projects
• Supporting the coordination of Mechanical and Electrical services
• Developing construction-stage models and technical drawings
• Working closely with Electrical Engineers, Contract Managers and wider project teams
• Coordinating services with architectural and structural models
• Identifying and resolving clashes and coordination issues
• Producing accurate drawings and model information for site teams
• Updating models throughout project delivery
• Supporting multiple projects across commercial, education, healthcare, leisure and industrial sectors
• Ensuring BIM outputs meet project requirements, programmes and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience within an MEP / Building Services contractor
• Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP
• Experience producing coordinated Building Services models and drawings
• Good understanding of Mechanical and Electrical services
• Experience working on construction-stage projects
• Strong attention to detail and coordination skills
