Trafford Council is recruiting a Revenues Officer within the Exchequer Services department, in the Business Rates Team responsible for billing, collection and recovering monies owed on business rates.
The successful candidate will have experience in similar roles or a financial background. Training will be provided, and there is a hybrid working arrangement combining home and office. The role may require DBS checks and occasional out-of-hours work.

The successful candidate will have experience in similar roles or a financial background as per the role profile which is attached. An understanding of business rates would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

Flexibility will be required to work outside core hours to accommodate telephone contact to the business rates team (operated on a Rota system).
