Trafford Council is seeking a Revenues Officer in the Exchequer Services department within the Business Rates Team. You will be involved in billing, collection and recovery of monies owed to the Council for business rates, with training provided if needed.

Trafford Council are looking to recruit a Revenues Officer within the Exchequer Services department. The role sits within the Business Rates Team who are responsible for billing, collection and recovering monies owed to the Council in respect of business rates.
The successful candidate will have experience in similar roles or a financial background as per the role profile which is attached. An understanding of business rates would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

Flexibility will be required to work outside core hours to accommodate telephone contact to the business rates team (operated on a Rota system).
