Job summary

Cyngor Sir Ceredigion County Council is seeking a Training Officer – Revenues and Financial Assessments in Aberystwyth. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive training, ensuring accuracy, and keeping training guidance up to date across Revenues and Financial Assessments teams.

The successful candidate will supervise training delivery, provide expert advice on Revenues and Benefits matters, and stay informed about legislative changes affecting the service.

Qualifications

• Experience with Financial Assessments (Housing Benefit/Council Tax Reduction)
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Knowledge of MRI and Civica systems

Responsibilities

• Provide training to Revenues and Financial Assessments staff and others involved in related processes
• Carry out quality checks to promote accuracy and service improvement
• Assist in software testing and deliver training for new/updated systems
