Qualifications

• Experience using Northgate / Academy / IBS (Civica) systems.
• Proven problem solving skills.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Housing Benefits / Council Tax.
• Delivers under pressure with a flexible approach to work.
• IT competent.
• Self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Deal directly with customers via letter, email and telephone to ensure service delivery.
• Meet the standards or deadlines required whilst performing all duties with minimal supervision.
• Complete high levels of workload consistently in line with performance indicators.
• Coach and mentor junior staff/colleagues.
• Share best practice with colleagues and lead update sessions to the wider team.
• Keep knowledge up to date through publications, bulletins and external training sessions.
