Job summary

King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council is offering a Revenues & Benefits Apprentice role with a starting salary of £24,521 per year and a 37-hour week. This 2-year fixed-term apprenticeship combines a recognised qualification with practical experience at the Kings Court Council Offices in Kings Lynn.

You will work across Revenues and Benefits, earning while you learn and pursuing the Level 4 Institute of Revenues, Rating and Valuation qualification.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSEs in English and Maths (grades 4-9/C or above).
• A Levels or an equivalent Level 3 qualification are required.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience across the Revenues and Benefits service, including Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, council tax and non-domestic rates.
• Duties will develop alongside studies to connect learning with real work from the outset.
