Job Description:

Insight Global are looking to hire a Revenue Management Specialist to manage the financial records of a group of 5 hotels with regards to revenue and income. This includes tracking and analysing financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring that the hotels are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, ensuring accuracy of the financial information and providing advice and guidance on how to maximize its revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Record and report revenue transactions in compliance with accounting principles and regulations

• Identify and analyse revenue-related issues and recommend solutions

• Prepare and maintain revenue schedules and reports

• Review and analyse revenue data for accuracy and completeness

• Ensure that revenue is recognised in accordance with the company’s revenue recognition policy

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

• Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organisations.

• Daily transfer of revenue from PMS (Infor) into Netsuite on daily basis working closely with Finance Assistants

• Full ownership of P&L from revenue perspective

• Attend P&L reviews with hotels team and GMs

• Use segment analysis to provide insight and projections, as well as harnessing analytics software e.g. PMS such as Infor

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Good understanding of hospitality commercial analysis and statistics

• Experience working within a Hotel's revenue controls team.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Demonstrable experience of building complex reports in Excel.

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or studying towards recognised accounting qualification with at least five years' experience

• Experience of working with large data sets utilising NetSuite

• Experience of developing and completing analysis projects, e.g. post-investment project, presenting analysis and driving actions from insights. Referencing key KPI's such as ADR, Rev Par and STR to senior leadership teams.

• Experience utilising Fairmas as a hospitality accounting system) or any relevant reporting tool

• Experience of creating, recording, maintaining controls and governance e.g. P2P (procure to pay), R2R (record to report) and O2C (order to cash)

• Experience with Infor as an integrated CRM solution.
