Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a Telephone Sales Executive at East Midlands Airport. You will manage a customer portfolio by phone, convert leads into loyal clients, and pursue revenue growth in line with targets.

Responsibilities include establishing agreements, applying pricing guidelines, maintaining customer data, promoting e-commerce tools, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, security and customs regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a sales environment.
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Strong achievement drive and ability to work as part of a team.
• Confident telephone skills and computer literacy.
• Experience in telephone sales, call centre, or face-to-face customer contact preferred.
• GCSE standard in English and Maths (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customers via regular call cycles.
• Convert prospect leads into customers, focusing on those with maximum revenue potential.
• Establish customer agreements and apply pricing guidelines.
• Maintain accurate customer information in our systems.
• Promote e-commerce tools and cost-effective sales channels.
