Cognita is seeking a Revenue Assistant to join their UK Finance team. This full-time role involves supporting debt recovery, managing stakeholder communications, and maintaining financial records. Ideal candidates will be organized, self-motivated, and possess strong Excel skills, with a commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Revenue Assistant to join our team.
As a Revenue Assistant within our UK Finance team, you will support the recovery of referred debt and assist with the administration of case referrals to solicitors. Reporting to the Senior Revenue Controller, you will maintain accurate records, liaise with stakeholders including Finance Managers, Heads of Finance, and external parties, and ensure systems are updated. You will handle email correspondence related to revenue management and provide timely updates to aid the recovery process. Your attention to detail and effective communication will support the financial health of our organization. You should be comfortable with difficult conversations with parents and stakeholders and able to challenge decisions when necessary. This role is ideal for organized individuals confident working with data and solving problems in a fast-paced environment, offering a great opportunity to develop your finance career within a collaborative team.
This is a full-time 6-month fixed-term contract starting in June. The position is home-based with occasional travel to collaborate with schools and finance teams.

You are a dependable, self-motivated professional with experience in a similar financial role such as Credit Control or Revenue. You possess strong Excel skills, confident communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. You are adept at working with data, liaising with stakeholders, and following administrative processes. You demonstrate a strong work ethic, integrity, and a solutions-focused mindset. Highly organized and comfortable working independently from home, you can manage multiple priorities and handle sensitive financial data. A commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing, adaptability, and support for the wider UK Finance team are essential.
