Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting a Returns Operator for a Newbury-based role focusing on processing returned products. You will handle stock placement, ensure procedures are followed, and coordinate with operations to manage reverse logistics. The position is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, with a £26,800 annual salary, a discretionary bonus, and 25 days of holiday.

This hands-on warehouse role requires accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety guidelines in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or reverse logistics preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work accurately and methodically.
• Understanding health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all returning products are stocked in the appropriate area.
• Apply processes and procedures to disposition returned products consistently.
• Identify process and performance opportunities and coordinate with operations.
• Contact client's product returning representatives to arrange shipments or returns.
• Check for damaged or missing items during returns.
• Move stock around manually or with lifting equipment as required.
• Keep management informed of any problems or delays.
• Serve as liaison between RMA and Marketing for influencer/sample requests.
• Process and dispatch marketing-related shipments accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory accordingly.
