Job summary

OA is seeking an Inbound Returns Operative in Milton Keynes to join a busy warehouse team. Duties include inspecting customer returns, recording stock movements, and deciding on stock disposition. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills are essential; training is provided.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00AM to 19:00PM, with a £13.00 per hour rate and weekly pay. Immediate start available for a temporary to permanent opportunity in a well-established client operation.

Qualifications

• Previous returns, warehouse or e-commerce experience is beneficial, but full training is provided.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident making decisions and following procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills and confidence using warehouse systems.
• Well organised and able to work in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and inspect customer returns, checking product condition, SKU, size, colour and quantity.
• Assess returned items and decide whether they can be returned to saleable stock or require quarantine/further investigation.
• Accurately record inspection results, photographs, notes and stock movements within the warehouse management system.
• Repackage and relabel suitable products, while separating damaged, incomplete or unsuitable stock for repair, disposal or client approval.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding damaged goods, discrepancies and return decisions.
• Maintain accurate stock control and a clean, safe returns area, while supporting wider Inbound and warehouse activities when required.
