Job summary

Cardo Group is seeking a Retrofit Site Manager to cover the Penzance area. You will manage retrofit site works, oversee energy efficiency installations, and ensure PAS2035/PAS2030 compliance while maintaining excellent client and resident communication.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in construction supervision, CSCS and SMSTS, plus a strong focus on health and safety. You will collaborate with management, operatives, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality, on-time projects.

Qualifications

• Membership of CSCS scheme (preferable).
• 5-day SMSTS – CITB.
• 1st Aid at Work (3 day).
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Construction Supervisory/Site Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of Retrofit site works, overseeing installation of Energy Efficiency Measures by direct operatives and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Cardo management, operatives, and subcontractors to meet programme, quality, and budget requirements.
• Provide clear progress updates to Cardo management, client, and residents, maintaining open communication.
• Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are followed at all times, liaising with Cardo H&S team.
• Attend internal and client meetings representing the business in a professional manner.
• Follow PAS2035/PAS2030 requirements and work with Retrofit Coordinator toward compliant installations.
• Understand drawings/specifications and ensure correct on-site installation.
• Update systems and documents for auditing per Cardo procedures and PAS2030.
• Work with Building Control and other statutory requirements.
• Be willing to work across departments to support team targets and company plan.
• Develop relationships with residents, direct labour, subcontractors, clients, building control, and fire authority.
• Act as the face of Cardo Group to clients and residents.
• Support Resident Liaison Officers with engagement and pre-consultation meetings.
