Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Contracts Manager (Retrofit) for a fixed term contract based at the Basingstoke office, covering Rickmansworth, Harrow, High Wycombe, Chelmsford and surrounding areas. You will lead a small team delivering retrofit works in social housing, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with zero defects and strict health & safety compliance.

The role requires knowledge of PAS 2030/2035, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to mobilise a new retrofit contract

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planned/retrofit works in social housing.
• Must hold SMSTS, First Aid or NVQ; if expired, renewal support provided.
• Knowledge of PAS 2030 & 2035 essential to the role.
• Full UK driving licence required; DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage site personnel teams (incl. sub-contractors) per contract.
• Manage site activities and resources to meet contract requirements.
• Control contract progress to finish on time and within budget.
• Ensure contract documentation and reports are accurate and timely.
• Attend monthly client meetings to review performance and planning.
• Assist in preparation of estimates, bids and tenders and procurement programme.
