Midland Heart is seeking a housing management professional to support Retirement Living schemes in Wolverhampton. You will be based on-site at Cresswell Court, Malvern Court and Glaisedale Gardens, coordinating tenancy management and safeguarding for older adults while traveling to meetings at our Birmingham Head Office as required.
The role requires strong organisation, IT literacy, and the ability to engage with tenants to maintain safe, thriving communities.
Do you have a background in Housing Management or Safeguarding services? Are you able to balance what service users want with what can realistically be provided? If yes, we want to hear from you!
In this role you'll be based on site at our Retirement Living Schemes; Cresswell Court (main base), Malvern Court and Glaisedale Gardens, where Midland Heart provide onsite housing management services, to a variety of tenants who live independently.
Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to commit to regular travel across Wolverhampton and additional travel to our Head Office in Birmingham to attend meetings & training.
Across the schemes, you'll represent Midland Heart, playing a crucial role in running the schemes you cover and will be the responsible person on scheme, representing Midland Heart in the event of an emergency or customer query.
Our tenants value face to face interaction and so it's important for you to be visible onsite at the above schemes each week. To be considered for this role, you must be willing and able to travel to all schemes and our central Birmingham offices for training / team meetings.
We're one team working together for our tenants; a large and ambitious housing organisation providing more people an affordable place to call home. We welcome people from every walk of life, at every stage of their career. We expect a lot from our people but in return you can be assured of a great place to work, where you will be well rewarded and where great people are able to succeed. Whether you want to build your career with us, or use your experience to move on, we're here to develop your potential.
We are proud to say we have recently been named in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work list, within the Big Organisations category.
Assessments for this role are due to take place on 11th November 2026.
