Job summary

Poundland in Ryde is seeking a Team Leader to support the Store and Assistant Manager in delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You will help create a welcoming store and oversee deliveries, merchandising, and daily operations on the shop floor and in the warehouse.

You will motivate the team, drive store performance, and lead by example. Retail experience is essential; leadership experience is a bonus. We offer training, development, and opportunities to progress within Poundland.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is needed and some leadership experience would be a bonus but not essential.
• A positive, proactive approach and strong teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing deliveries and merchandising to keep standards high on the shop floor and in the warehouse.
• Support daily operations and motivate the team to deliver great customer service.
• Lead by example, develop colleagues, and keep the team focused on delivering results on a day‑to‑day basis.
