Job summary

Home Bargains in Chatham is looking for a Team Leader to run day-to-day store operations, support the management team, and guide colleagues on the shop floor. You’ll ensure shelves are stocked, service remains strong, and targets are met with confidence.

The role offers progression and a fast-paced retail environment. As a hands-on leader, you’ll train new starters, coach seasoned colleagues, and contribute to a welcoming, efficient store where customers enjoy great value and a smooth shopping

Qualifications

• Experience supervising others in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
• Confident in supporting colleagues and leading by example on the shop floor.
• Strong prioritisation, organisation and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the way with daily priorities and help the team hit goals.
• Coach new starters and develop existing colleagues.
• Create great shopping moments by advising customers and improving service.
• Maintain high merchandising standards and store safety and presentation.
• Share ideas to spur improvements and keep energy high on the shop floor.
