Job summary

Farmfoods is recruiting a Retail Supervisor for our Leeds shop. This 39-hour, full-time role involves leading the team, opening/closing, handling cash, placing orders and developing staff to deliver great customer service.

Qualifications

• Some supervisory/managerial experience in retail is useful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the management team and support the manager to run an efficient shop and provide great service.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensure customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and routines are completed to keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop the team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
