Job summary

Superdrug is seeking a Retail Supervisor in Lewes to lead a small team in a busy high-street store. The role is part-time (16 hours per week) with a starting rate of £13.50 per hour, and involves supporting the management team, driving sales, and delivering outstanding customer service.

You will help supervise staff, ensure store appearance and stock levels are optimal, and participate in flexible weekday/weekend shifts. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in a fast-paced retailer.
• Understanding of retail KPIs, including sales and service.
• Ability to develop and coach others.
• Willingness to perform piercing services (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the store team to maintain high energy and achieve targets.
• Support management in day-to-day store operations and customer flow.
• Keep shelves stocked, reduce shrinkage, and ensure smooth till operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to shoppers and visitors.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Supervisory or team leader experience within a fast-paced high street retailer preferred
• Understanding of retail Key Performance Indicators; including sales, profit and service
• The ability to help others to develop and improve their skills
• Willingness to carry out piercing services for our customers (training provided and not essential as part of the role)
