Job summary

Specsavers in Southampton is seeking a Retail Supervisor to support store directors with retail operations, supervising and coaching staff to achieve excellent standards and customer service while aiming to exceed performance targets. You will use KPIs to drive sales, minimise costs and maximise profits, and help keep the store running smoothly alongside the management team.

The role requires previous optics experience and you will receive thorough training and development to grow your knowledge

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business is required.
• Basic knowledge of optical terminology.

Job description

As Retail Supervisor you will assist the store directors with the retail operations with a particular responsibility for supervising, coaching and motivating staff to achieve excellent technical standards and customer service and to exceed performance targets. You will support by using key performance indicators to increase sales, minimise costs and maximise profits and management team in the effective running of the store. You will support with supervising, coaching and motivating staff to achieve excellent retail standards and customer service. You will support by inspiring the team and using KPI’s to increase sales, minimise costs and maximise profits.

Please note that previous optics experience is essential for this role.
