Job summary

Compass Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Retail Supervisor to help run a 37.5-hour week across our sites. The role involves supervising frontline teams, handling deliveries, till duties, and stock orders, while maintaining high standards of Food Hygiene and Safety.

You will work to produce rotas, support weekly bookwork, and foster a positive, customer-focused environment, with opportunities for progression in a large, signals-driven organisation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service.
• Team player and can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Checking deliveries and storing them promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team and creating a positive, welcoming environment.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Using the till, taking orders and receiving payments.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as required.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Group UK&I on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

Your Key Responsibilities May Include

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
