Job summary

Cotswold Outdoor Group is recruiting a Retail Supervisor to lead the team on the shop floor, deliver outstanding customer service and keep the store running smoothly. You’ll supervise, mentor and take charge when the Store Manager is away, while championing a hands-on, customer-focused approach.

You’ll be part of a fast-paced, outdoors-focused retailer offering a competitive hourly rate, a generous staff discount and a clear progression path through ongoing training.

• Must have experience as a retail supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
• Confidence in handling responsibility and solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Help the team stay focused on their tasks and deliver excellent customer service.
• Lead on the shop floor by providing expert services such as boot fitting and gait analysis.
• Mentor new colleagues and onboard them confidently.
• Manage store opening and closing duties as a key holder.
• Carry out cashing up duties accurately and efficiently.
• Lead in the absence of Store/Assistant Store Manager.
• Keep the store safe, compliant and running efficiently.
• Bring energy, organization and motivation to the team.

As a Retail Supervisor, you'll play a key part in helping your team grow, supporting customers, and keeping the store on track. You'll lead by example on the shop floor and step in to run things when the Store Manager is away.
