Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations at a major High Street venue on a full-time basis (40 hours per week).

You will lead a team, manage deliveries, handle till duties, and uphold food hygiene and safety standards, with opportunities for career progression in a company that rewards initiative and values individuality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Check deliveries and store them promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a frontline team and foster a positive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Operate till, take orders and process payments.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as required.
• Create weekly rotas following managerial guidelines.
• Place stock orders to maintain correct levels.
• Delegate tasks and ensure the team remains proactive.
• Maintain food handling and hygiene standards.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in a major High Street brand on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Your Key Responsibilities May Include

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Using the till, taking order and receiving payments
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Our Ideal Retail Supervisor Will

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
• Team player and can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
