Retail Travel Manager : An established, award-winning travel company based in Guilford are recruiting for experienced Retail Travel Manager to join their growing team .This is an exciting opportunity and will be responsible for the management and development of the sales team to achieve both personal and store targets, whilst ensuring the highest level of service is offered to clients . The Retail Travel Manager will also work closely with marketing team to support with the generation of new business and building relationships with local businesses, clients, and suppliers . This role offers a basic salary £36,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience plus generous commission scheme, 25 days holiday, pension, healthcare, and the opportunity to go on fantastic FAM trips .

Retail Travel Manager role responsibilities
Leading and developing a team of Travel Consultants to achieve and exceed sales targets
Ensuring the team offer the highest level of service to generate repeat business
Complete once to ones/ personal development plans and making sure the team are on track to achieve their full potential
Deliver in store training and keep up to date with travel policies and regulations
Support with the growth and marketing of the store and seek out opportunities to increase brand awareness in the local area

Retail Travel Manager skills required
Must have experience working in travel either within Retail Travel, Tour Operations OR Travel Contact Centre experience within a role of Manager, Assistant Manager , Supervisor
Confident supporting teams to achieve and exceed personal and company sales
Excellent commercial knowledge
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and suppliers
Proven track record of leading a team to achieve and exceed sales targets
Excellent organisation skills
